The entry date for the Think Brick 2012 Awards entries has been extended until the 7th September 2012 due to popular demand and to cater for the many architects involved in the Venice Biennale 2012.
The Horbury Hunt Award celebrates brick craftsmanship for built projects across the country. There are 4 categories: Commercial, Residential, Landscape & Reuse.
The Think Brick Awards are the richest design awards in Australia created to encourage architects to consider the artistic, environmental and versatile features of clay brick use. This year is no exception for the first time Horbury Hunt Award Winners will receive $2500 for each category and the overall winner will win $10,000.
Elizabeth McIntyre, CEO Think Brick explains "We have been overwhelmed with the number of entries received to date, Horbury Hunt 2012 is looking to be our biggest competition yet, the extension allows a final chance for those who still wish to enter to do so before the 7th September".
Winners will be announced at the awards dinner on 25th October, 2012 in Sydney.
